Brokerage commissions and fees in Rwanda

Editorial outline: a guide awaiting dated official schedules and clarification of broker-specific charges.

Editorial outline — no current fee schedule

This page is not a fee quotation or a completed guide. Current commissions, exchange charges, taxes, minimums and negotiated broker terms have not been verified for publication. No fee amounts or percentages are presented.

Evidence needed before completion

  • A dated, currently effective official exchange or regulator schedule, with its scope established.
  • Relevant broker-specific terms, including minimums and any charges not covered by that schedule.
  • Qualified review of any proposed tax explanation, distinguishing law from a broker’s document layout.
  • An original, permission-cleared illustration that contains no customer information.

The guide must distinguish a maximum permitted fee from an actual fee charged and identify which date and transaction type each source covers.

Questions to take to your broker

Ask for an itemized explanation of a quoted or charged total, its calculation basis and the applicable written terms. Keep that explanation with your transaction evidence. Do not assume a percentage found in an old document still applies.

Struct Capital is independent tracking software. It does not set broker fees or negotiate transactions. Learn how to review a contract note.
